Born in Hamburg, Germany, but raised to walk on itchy feet, I feel at home in different corners of the world. From the Mediterranean to the Arctic, from Europe to overseas, from solo travel to shared trips: In more than 25 countries, I’ve encountered people whose stories are meant to be told. 

I hold a BA in cultural science (Kulturwissenschaften) and an MA in English and American Literatures, Cultures and Media. After a year onboard the editorial team of the travel magazine “Der Passagier” and hands-on experience in putting together four out of currently five issues, I am now a freelance travel and culture writer. Bilingual in English and German, I also work in corporate publishing.

Last but not least, a passion project: fiction writing. My short stories have been recognized by award committees in the United States and Germany.
