Born in Hamburg, Germany, but raised to walk on itchy feet, I feel at home in different corners of the world. From the Mediterranean to the Arctic, from Europe to overseas, from solo travel to shared trips: In more than 40 countries, I’ve encountered people whose stories are meant to be told. 

I hold a BA in cultural studies (Kulturwissenschaften) and an MA in English and American Literatures, Cultures and Media. As an editor, I wrote for travel magazines such as Der Passagier, explorer, and VANderlust, and as an author, I published two books with riva: Der verrückteste Reiseführer mit dem Zug and Der Verrückteste Reiseführer mit dem Camper. Fluent in English and German, I also offer copy writing.
